Spring 2017 Show Updates

Silent Sky Returns May 19-28

Silver Spring is pleased to bring back, by popular demand, Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson. “Lift your soul and broaden your mind” with this “masterpiece of wonder, humor, and bittersweet discovery of the universe inside and outside of ourselves.” (Thanks for these kind words to DC Metro Theatre Arts and Maryland Theatre Guide.)

Silent Sky celebrates the joy of discovery as it explores the life of Henrietta Leavitt, a nearly forgotten giant of astronomy, and her coworkers and fellow voyagers on her trip to the stars, Annie Cannon and Williamina Fleming.

One Man, Two Guvnors Opens June 30

We’ve given you a bonus weekend to catch this madcap romp!

1963 in Brighton, England. Francis Henshall is employed by small-time gangster Roscoe Crabbe, but Roscoe is really his sister Rachel in disguise. And she’s in love with her brother’s killer, Stanley Stubbers, who becomes our hero's other 'guvnor.' Fighting a mounting sense of confusion, Francis tries to serve both bosses while distracted by a pneumatic book keeper, a self-important actor, and members of the criminal fraternity, not to mention his own mammoth appetite.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Three Sisters is no longer on the Silver Spring Stage schedule for this season. Subscribers may email contact@ssstage.org with any questions.
