In a time when it’s always more difficult for small theaters to stay afloat, we’ve survived because we don’t just stick to tried-and-true classics. We bring you the contemporary, edgy, often challenging stories you’d expect to see at larger theaters downtown for a whole lot more money. And we do it with you! Actors and directors and crew from our local community, bringing in new, diverse voices every year. Last year, more than two-thirds of our actors were brand new to the stage, and we need your help to allow new talent to keep shining at the Stage.

When you’re in our audience, there’s no AI, no filters, no scrolling, and no substitutes. What you get is a raw exchange between actor and audience. Authentic, live, human art.
