Silver Spring Stage is a fun, creative and exciting community theater where even a few hours makes a huge difference. We are an all-volunteer community theater and every job at the theater from ushers to actors to designers to set builders to production crew to administrative work are all done by volunteers. While you’re helping to put on some of the best community theater in the region, it’s also a great opportunity to learn how the craft of theater is done. And, all along the way, our seasoned volunteers will help guide you in any area of the theater where you want to volunteer.
We need your help in several areas of the theater: production, hospitality, and administrative. Here are some of the opportunities to volunteer.
Production
This area covers all the tasks that are needed to put on a show. Some of the jobs may need some training or experience. There are always people to train and assist you in any of these responsibilities. All production volunteers receive complimentary tickets to the show they work on.
